Start your morning with a slow beginner yoga flow to elevate your vibes for a balanced day. Shake off what no longer serves you to allow a fresh start to your day. You’ll start with a centering meditation leading into a yoga flow infused with energy clearing. We will use rattles, movement and breath to release stuck energy in your body for a balanced mind and body.

After establishing a solid, stable foundation, we now will utilize poses carefully weaving them into a joyful flowing practice, by adding breath to each movement and adding a touch of play to our practice.

Cultivating an Open Spine: Hips Into Backbends

Your back doesn’t actually bend — it elongates. To find a true “back bend,” you need radically open, flexible hips. In this advanced level class, Kat offers up a magic sauce of warming flow, hip opening, technique and alignment that gets you safely into backbends — and other deep spaces — that may surprise and delight you. Offering lots of variations and modifications, come to this session to discover how doable, teachable and joyful your backbend practice can be.

This presentation will explore the protective factors that contribute to an individual’s resilience. Participants will learn concrete techniques to foster sustainable, resilient behavior over time to improve their physical and emotional health.

A non-intimidating and approachable class designed to give you a solid foundation for beginning your yoga practice. You will learn terminology, basic poses to increase strength and flexibility and modifications that work for your body. Not only is this appropriate for beginners but for anyone who wants to get back to the basics. Classes will include elements of Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Yin yoga as well as some basic breathing techniques.

A yoga flow that focuses on breath work, core work, alignment focused yoga poses, and ending with a nice, long savasana. Accessible to most levels, modifications will be given.

Location: Crane West

Join me for a vinyasas flow with a warm up before taking flight with standing and arm balancing poses to find balance within your mind, body and spirit. Practice allowing your breath to flow in challenging poses which you can take off the mat into your daily life so you can stay balanced throughout your day.

In this discussion participants will learn about the powerful impact of joining therapy with healing modalities such as reiki and acupuncture. Individuals will be able to better understand energy work and how it dovetails beautifully with the therapeutic process. Some of the questions we will explore consist of:

  • What is energy work?
  • How do my emotions get trapped in our bodies?
  • What do emotional and physical releases feel like?
  • Where are our emotions stored in the body?
  • How does acupuncture and reiki help my emotional state?

In this guided meditation Laurie will help you navigate and thread through the mind’s complex resistance to meditation. He will help you dissolve the ideas and thoughts that seem to make meditation elusive and impossible. Laurie will also teach you the powerful 10 second meditation to try anywhere, anytime, through any circumstances.

In this class you will experience and learn the knack and be inspired to continue your practice.

Are you feeling tight and unbalanced? In this practice you practice holding poses for a few breaths and deep stretching while moving from pose to pose. This yoga class will release any tension that holds you back from feeling balanced in your life.

Take your practice to a more physical level with this power flow. Sue will incorporate Spot specific strength exercises, challenging balance poses, arm balances and inversions into a fun flow with upbeat music!

This is a slow-moving class designed to help the student relax and release with an emphasis on foundational postures and alignment that's perfect for beginners. Move through a series of centering/breathing exercises and asanas that promote rejuvenation of the mind & body. Good for those new to yoga as well as practitioners of all experience levels looking to slow down and let go.

Saluting both the sun and the moon this class will move through postures to align, strengthen and promote balance in the mind, body and spirit. You can expect an emphasis on, as well as repetition of movement to get out of your head and into the body. Not only will we flow, but we will be holding longer deeper postures for the end of the class. Followed by a sweet, blissful meditation.

Learn two Martial Arts meditative Qigong sequences for resetting and revitalizing your personal health systems.

By incorporating the Five Elements of water, wood, fire, earth and metal, into a moving meditation, you will feel the playful connection to the natural world. As vital Chi energy coursing through your body, a sense of groundedness and fluidity will be achieved. Tap into a healthier and more intuitive self-awareness.

Silk Weavers Exercise is a traditional full body warm up for the Martial Arts. It strengthens the muscles and tendons, as you move with breath. The basic idea is to fashion the movements to be slow, smooth and continuous as if you were weaving silk. By coordinating breath control and movement the union of the body, mind and spirit are accessible.

Hips are the gateway to an expanded practice — seated, standing and balancing postures, backbends and meditation all become easier and more accessible with easeful hips. In this presentation , We will explore how to access your intuition and decipher what it’s saying. We will discuss concrete tools you can use to start to test and learn to trust your intuition. We will also talk about how to answer the following questions:

  • How do boundaries relate to my intuition?
  • Is that my gut or am I overthinking?
