Update on Covid-19 from Jiminy Peak
As the news right now surrounding Covid-19 has the attention of the world, we wanted to take a moment and reach out to you, our loyal Jiminy guests, to let you know what is happening at the resort and address concerns about upcoming reservations.
We are paying close attention to this situation, and we are monitoring all information and recommendations that are coming from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization, as well as state and local officials.
Additionally, we are reinforcing the guidelines to prevent illness set forth by the CDC with our staff and guests. We have shared these with our employees and have posted them publicly around the resort campus for everyone to see. They include frequent and thorough hand washing, the need to stay home when feeling unwell, and recommending social distancing. We continue to focus on keeping all areas of the resort clean and sanitized for all those who work and visit here.
Out of an abundance of caution and for the safety and well being of our guests and staff during the Covid-19 outbreak, Jiminy will suspend ski area operations at 4 pm on Sunday, March 15, 2020. The mountain will not operate for skiing/snowboarding through Sunday, March 22, 2020. Later in the week we will evaluate the situation and make a determination for plans beyond the 22nd. Please check jiminypeak.com for the latest information.
For questions about upcoming reservations, please call us at (413) 738-5500.
Thank you for being loyal guests of Jiminy Peak, and we look forward to having you back here soon to enjoy time with family and friends on the mountain!
