Mountain Coaster

Jiminy's Mountain Coaster was one of the first Mtn Coasters in the US! Popular in Europe, the Coaster is 3600 feet of twisting, turning fun through the woods. You control your speed so you may take a leisurely ride or get your thrills at speeds up to 23 mph. Must be at least 9 years of age and 54" tall to ride alone. Must be at least 3 years old and 38" tall to ride as a passenger with an adult age 16+.

Weekends and Holidays during the 14/15 winter season.

Saturdays 1 pm - 7 pm

Sundays 1 pm - 7 pm

Christmas Eve: 12 pm - 4 pm

Holiday periods include December 25, 2014 - January 4, 2015; January 17-19, 2015; February 14-22, 2015

Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge

A crowd favorite, The Vertical Challenge has been coming to Jiminy Peak for years. They always show us a good time and make sure nobody goes home thirsty. Enter the race for a chance to qualify for the Finals. This is one of the biggest parties of the year at Jiminy Peak! This event is free with a valid Jiminy Peak lift ticket for the day!

Pre-Register HERE! If you are under 18, you still need to have a parent sign a sheet at registration when you pick up your bib number.

Wounded Warriors

Since 2005, STRIDE Adaptive Sports has supported regional Wounded Warrior rehabilitative sport and mentorship programs, restoring hope, independence and freedom while improving self-esteem, and confidence. Giving them a chance to accomplish new skills and realize their potential, regardless of disability, is a small way we can thank them for all they've given to our country. STRIDE is proud to host our Annual Wounded Warrior Snowfest Event in Troy, NY and at Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort.

Try skiing or riding FREE!

Intro to Skiing Snowboarding with access to instructors will last for 90 minutes. 

Pre-registration is required and is limited to the first 75 people, age 8 & up on a first come, first come, first served basis. Program includes rentals, a lower mountain lift ticket (Magic Carpet, Cricket and Novice lifts) and access to instructors in the Terrain Based Learning area on the Cricket slope for 90 minutes. This is not a traditional lesson but an introduction to skiing and riding with access to instructors on the Chipmunk and Cricket slopes.
