Through collaboration with it’s sister resorts, Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort will unveil an enhanced GET Skiing & Riding Program for the 2013 winter season.

Hancock, MA: This season Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort has banded together with sister mountains, Cranmore Mountain Resort in North Conway, NH and Bromley Mountain in Peru, VT to unveil the new the GET learn to ski and learn to ride lesson programs. “Introducing new participants to our sports is vital for our industry and we have always been passionate about our learning programs,” says Jiminy President Brian Fairbank, a longtime leader in beginner ski initiatives.

GET stands for Guaranteed Easy Turns and is designed for 1st time skiers and riders, ages 8 and up. Participants learn on shorter skis or a specifically designed snowboard (made by Burton) that are included in the lesson package, in addition to a helmet, novice area lift ticket and 90 minute lesson. Participants are guaranteed to be able to turn right and left, stop and board a lift by the end of the lesson or they are welcome to take another lesson free of charge.
