ASSUMPTION: Current ski area has 120 tower guns with 60 alternative bracket locations.
REQUIRED INVESTEMNT: Need 64 more tall tower tubes with brackets at $1,500.00 each, totaling $96,000.00 plus 32 added brackets/bases @ $500.00 each for $16,000.
Need 184 Vortex heads at $1,000 each for $184,000. Total cost for upgrade equipment equals $296,000.00. $296,000.00 divided by $78,472.00 decreased energy costs per year YIELDS 4 YEAR PAYBACK.

Conversion from existing INTERNAL MIX Air/Water Gun System
ASSUMPTION: A realistic air plant of 30,000 CFM
REQUIRED INVESTMENT: Purchase 184 new VORTEX guns with tubes and brackets at $2,500.00 each totaling $460,000 plus 92 alternative brackets @ 500.00 each = $46,000 for a total capital investment of $506,000. $506,000.00 divided by $472,860 reduced energy costs per year YIELDS 1.15 YEAR PAYBACK, with a system that no longer needs average 20º wet bulb temperatures to operate
