Guided Snowshoe Tour

Bring your snowshoes (or rent them from Mountain Sports by Potter Brothers the night before) and meet the guides at the base of the Ace of Spades trail, behind the Country Inn. We will offer two routes depending on your ambition and energy level. Those who want a shorter, less strenuous hike (1.25 mi) will ascend the John Hancock trail to the entrance of our walking trails. There you will branch off for a peaceful journey through densely forested trails, looping back to the Country Inn. Those wishing for a more aerobic work out will hike to the summit via John Hancock and West Way. Your rewards for reaching the summit will be spectacular views of our Zephyr wind turbine, the Jericho Valley and Mount Greylock. Enjoy a complimentary coffee and cinnamon bun at Hendrick's Summit Lodge before descending to the base area via Left Bank and Grouse Run.
